A 20 min guided meditation led by Barnaby to  help relax the mind so that we are more open to creative ideas.  As Barnaby describes "relieving the tension from the attention".

After tea break you will be introduced to Handbuilding  techniques by Barnaby, through making various suggested projects or realising ideas of your own

Especially prepared for Clay Day participants by Almaz at Kaffa Vegan Ethiopian restaurant; just two doors from Dalston Clay. Exceptionally delicious, heart warming and healthy Ethiopian food.

(Please note that lunch is £12 extra to be paid to Almaz in cash or contactless after the meal). You are also welcome to eat elsewhere in Dalston or bring your own lunch and eat in the studio or just continue working through lunch break.

A second session for you to continue your ceramics project or start a new one.

A guided lying down meditation led by Barnaby. Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) is a state of deep rest that is distinct from actual sleep. It is a type of restorative rest that allows the body to recuperate and rejuvenate without necessarily entering the sleep state. As we use up a lot of energy in the creative process, NSDR beautifully completes the Flow Cycle
