Interested in learning ceramics but can’t afford it at the moment?
Want to get involved and be part of something new and exciting?

At Dalston Clay, affordability and community are important to us.

We created Work Exchange to help us keep our prices affordable, help less financially able people to benefit from the studio and to give people a sense of belonging through being of service.  How it works is very simple: assist us at the studio for three 3hr sessions in return for a coupon code for a three-pack of 3hr Drop-In sessions to use at any time you wish.

No prior ceramics experience is necessary; just a willingness to take part.

During your session you will be guided by our studio manager in various studio jobs such as glazing, firing, tidying, cleaning, organising and maintaining equipment.

Contact us for further inquiries or feel free to book your session below.

Please note that if you cant make a session that you have booked, try to give us at least a weeks notice via email at info@dalstonclay.com

You can also cancel and reschedule your work exchange session on your members account which can be found in the MORE section of the website once you are logged in to the site

As a CIC and Social Enterprise, it is our intention to make Dalston Clay a studio that is available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance. While we need to function as a business, we never want money to be the reason why someone can't benefit from what we've built. If you truly can't afford the full cost of our offerings, we invite you to contact us to discuss your situation and we will endeavour to sort something out.

Not sure what to book?
