New to ceramics and want to know where to start?

Our evening Taster sessions are a great place to start.   You will learn the basic foundations of wheel throwing and hand building; both utilitarian and sculptural. If you are looking for a broader foundation then the Five Week Course will take you from raw clay to finished glazed pieces and will also include a meditation to begin each session. If you are just after the wheel our intimate Wheel Throwing sessions of up to six people are both a perfect introduction and can be used as an opportunity to advance your skills.

You can also book a Private Tuition session with one of our teachers.

Looking for a fun, creative and affordable night out?

Friday and Saturday nights are Clay Social!

We created Clay Social to respond to the growing demand for more wholesome and affordable activities to do in London on a Friday night and also as a simple introduction to ceramics if you can't afford our other sessions.

Its PWYC (£20-35) and BYOB but you might be too absorbed in making to have time for much drinking!

As a CIC and Social Enterprise, it is our intention to make Dalston Clay a studio that is available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance. While we need to function as a business, we never want money to be the reason why someone can't benefit from what we've built. If you truly can't afford the full cost of our offerings, we invite you to contact us to discuss your situation and we will endeavour to sort something out.
