As a Community Interest Company (CIC) and Social Enterprise 
we are here for our community

We are continually seeking funding to be able to offer either free or significantly reduced price Charity Sessions as these form a core part of what Dalston Clay is about: getting as many people in our community into Flow as we can!

 

We want to get to know and serve our community better, so if you are part of a charity or lead a community group and would like to explore how a creative session could benefit you and your members, please get in touch to discuss your requirements. We have worked with the NHS, Discover Young Hackney, Hackney Circle, and Carers First.

We offer a 25% discount on all of our group programs to charities (upon request).

a creative wellbeing studio in Dalston, East London which combines the healing and stress-reducing benefits of ceramics practice with meditation and yoga

Bespoke, in-person sessions taking place at Dalston Clay or onsite, which may include any combination of the following:

  • A mindful approach designed to mimic the flow cycle.

  •  Handbuilding using pinch, coil and slab techniques (easier and more relaxed pottery-making best for larger, more social groups)

  • Wheel-throwing on our 6 pottery wheels (focussed and technical pottery-making best for smaller groups or people just looking to try)

  • Yoga, meditation, and NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) instruction and equipment.

  • Painting and drawing instruction and equipment.

  • Positive psychology workshops.

  • One fired and glazed item per participant, with the option to purchase additional pieces.

 

We also offer:

Vegan and gluten-free meals catered by our good friends Kaffa Vegan Ethiopian Restaurant. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink and use our kitchen facilities.

 

A/V Equipment for presentations and meetings: we have 15 chairs, 15 back jacks (floor chairs), a 6000 lumen HD projector, home cinema sound system and pull-down projector screen.

GROUP TASTER SESSION

3hrs 

  • 30 minutes of meditation/ yoga nidra

  • 2.5 hrs handbuilding (wheel-throwing optional)

  • 1 fired and glazed piece per guest (option to purchase additional pieces)

 

Minimum Price (up to 10 guests): £690

10-15 guests: £690 + £59pp 

15-20 guests: £785 + £49pp

 

 

HALF-DAY PROGRAM

4hrs

(9:30am - 1:30pm or 2pm - 5pm) 

  • 30mins arrival time

  • 45mins yoga with a certified yoga teacher.

  • 30mins meditation.

  • 2hrs handbuilding (optional Wheel-throwing)

  • Optional group lunch

  • 1 fired and glazed piece per guest (option to purchase additional pieces)
     

Minimum Price (up to 10 guests): £890

10-15 guests: £890 + £69 per additional guest

15-20 guests: £1235 + £59 per additional guest (modified schedule not including yoga)

 

 

FULL-DAY PROGRAM

8hrs

(9:30am - 5:30pm) 

  • 30mins arrival time

  • 45mins yoga with a certified yoga teacher.

  • 30mins meditation.

  • 2hrs handbuilding (optional Wheel-throwing)

  • Catered group lunch

  • Extra 2.5 hr ceramic session (or your own activity)

  • 30 minutes Yoga Nidra (NSDR)

  • 2 fired and glazed pieces per guest (option to purchase additional pieces)
     

Minimum Price (up to 10 guests): £1580

10-15 guests: £1580+ £129 per additional guest

15-20 guests: £2225+ £109 per additional guest (modified schedule not including yoga)
