WHAT TO EXPECT

The summer months are usually quiet for ceramic studios in the city, so every summer we offer reduced price wheel throwing sessions throughout June, July and August to keep the studio thriving all year round.  Similar to Drop-In sessions; you can purchase packs of 3, 5 or 10 sessions which you can use to purchase a session on either Wednesday or Thursday. These sessions are guided throughout and are aimed at beginners and intermediates alike: If you are new to wheel throwing or ceramics more generally, you will learn the foundational skills of clay wedging, centering, bowl and cylinder throwing as well as trimming.  If you are at intermediate level you will expand your skills by learning the more advanced techniques of our experienced teachers and have an opportunity to spend quality time on the wheel in a beautiful, calm and friendly studio.
