New to ceramics or want to get back into it? Join our pilot Queer Taster session - a welcoming space for our LGBTQ+ community to connect, create, and find their flow together. You'll learn both handbuilding (pinch, coil, slab) and wheel throwing techniques while building connections with fellow queer creatives in a judgment-free environment. Led by Studio Manager Ben Nichols with expert guidance, unlimited clay, tea, and curated playlists. What to expect: - A Safe Creative Space where you can be completely yourself - Community Connection - meet like-minded creatives and build friendships - Comprehensive Learning - master both handbuilding and wheel throwing - Everything Provided- tools, aprons, unlimited clay - Intimate Groups - max 12 participants for personal attention - Climate-Controlled Studio with natural light for comfort and creativity Sessions are free-flowing and dynamic - we can suggest projects or you can bring your own creative vision. Zero pressure to be perfect, just space to explore, connect, and enjoy therapeutic time with clay. After taster sessions, you'll be ready to join our Drop-In Community (cheaper sessions, studio access 9am-10pm daily) with connections already made.
