Service Description

REQUIREMENTS Although Drop in sessions are supervised by a teacher (except Sundays and Mondays), they are not guided like our other sessions.  As such they are only suitable for you if you feel that you have enough prior experience with ceramics practice to the extent that you feel confident working without instruction.  In addition to this, before booking your first Drop-In session,  we also require that you have attended at least one Taster Session, Clay Day, five week course or a studio induction so that you feel confident in using the studio. If you intend on using the wheel during your drop-in session we recommend that you have gained proficient prior wheel -throwing skills, as one to one tutoring will not be available during Drop-in sessions.   PLEASE NOTE: A Yoga Throwdown or Clay Day may be occurring on Sundays. However, your Drop-In Sunday session allows you to join us for the wellbeing activities. Please check the Quick Book Time table to see what's happening on Sundays and refer to the Drop-In Handbook for further information. All tools and equipment are available to use including nine pottery wheels. Coloured slips, underglaze, dipping and brush-on glazes are all included in the price of your Drop-in session. We have an extensive range of all of these but please feel free to bring your own (firing temp 1220).
