Glazing Tutorial

Return to the studio to glaze your work from a previous Taster, Wheel Throwing Session, or Clay Social/Clay Day. You can book your glazing tutorial for after two weeks from your making session with us. Our glazing tutorial is a guided session that's begins half an hour (6pm) before the evening session (6.30pm). This provides time for you to choose from our extensive range of beautiful brush-on and dipping glazes (included) and settle down to glaze your work. After you have finished glazing you are welcome to continue your ceramics practice by joining the evening session (6.30 - 9pm) free of charge. You can find out what session is happening during your glazing session on the Quick Book calendar ​​If you do not have anything to glaze, you can have a look through our boxes of unclaimed bisque ware to find something you like (free of charge).​ This is a guide for those of you who have chosen to return to glaze your work. If you have requested that we glaze it for you then you can skip to collection. ​Benefits of glazing at Dalston Clay ​ Flexible sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 6pm Wide range of underglazes, dipping glazes and brush-on glazes all included Small group instruction Session duration up to 3 hours Central location just 1 min walk from Dalston Kingsland and 2 mins walk from Dalston Junction stations Finish early? Join in on the evening session for free until 9pm Beautiful studio, free tea, friendly vibes and great playlists! ​ Please note ​ We apologise that we cannot correspond regarding the whereabouts of work on an individual basis. On the rare occasion that a piece has broken during the firing process or by accident, we will endeavour to contact the maker. Otherwise you can presume that we have your work on our shelves ready for you to glaze after two weeks from your session.
